Sydney and I were best of friends growing up. We had a lot of good times together and a LOT of laughs. We played music together and shared good and bad times. God bless you Sydney. I can still hear you laughing!

Syd was a long time friend we grew up together…
we had alot of fun together and I’ll will always cherish the memories…and as Gary said we’ll always remember your laugh and your good nature..God Bless you Syd you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers//

The first time I saw Syd he was playing on a flatbed trailer, probably with Kevin. And then he started playing Hendrix… Good times!

Syd and I go way back. Music brought us together. I will always remember my friend as we shared our times in the studio, traveling and performing live. His smile, laughter, musical talent and the person great he was will be truly missed. Jonathan…my condolences to you and your family.

I was very sad to hear Syd passed away. He and my mom were close friends for a long time – she was in at least one band with him and took singing lessons from Romayne. I have some very fond memories of going with my mom to see Syd play, especially on Halloween one year when he dressed up as Hendrix. Syd had the best laugh and will be greatly missed. Wishing your family all the best in dealing with your loss.
