Thomas Ruckert

Tom passed away on New Years Eve at the Leb. VA. Born in Pittsburgh he was the son of the late John and Florence (Stitt) Ruckert. He served in the USAF. Tom loved the outdoors always wanting to find what was over the next ridge. He loved hunting, fishing, running his dogs and going to the Cabin (which was his happy place)! Preceded in death was a brother Jack, Richard and a sister Marla. He celebrated 35 years of marriage with his wife Vicky. Surviving are children Autumn(Mike) Wallace, NY Melissa (Aaron) Bang, Washington, John-Thomas (Serena) Ruckert, England, stepdaughter Jenn (Jay) Stauffer,Martindale, stepdaughter Angela (Dan) Doshier, Talmage, 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, Sister Pat Williams, Monroeville, Brothers Bob Ruckert, Ambridge, Alan (Alba) Ruckert New Kensington, many nieces and nephews. He wanted NO Funeral so a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. He is going to be deeply missed by many.

  • Vicky, I am so sorry about your husband’s passing. Janetta called yesterday and we had a long talk about happenings at Fairmount, she told me about your husband. I miss the people and the staff and the high fives to you ha ha.
