Wilbur (Will) Weyhausen

Will Weyhausen, 96, of Landisville, PA, passed away on March 10, 2015 at Lancaster General Hospital following a brief illness.

Born in West New York, NJ in 1918, he was the son of the late Harry and Dorothy Weyhausen. Will was the loving husband of 63 years to Ann (Schroeck) Weyhausen.

A veteran of World War II, he served as a Corporal in the U.S. Army 12th Infantry, fought in the Battle of Normandy, and was a prisoner of war in Munich, Germany.

Will retired from Alcoa Aluminum Company after 46 years of service as a manager in their estimating department. In his younger years he was an avid golfer, and enjoyed fishing with his wife and family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two children: Gary husband of Colleen (Campion) Weyhausen of Fayetteville, GA, and Glenn partner of Walter Stauss, Aptos, CA. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren: Laura, Mark, Kate and Will. He was preceded in death by his sister Lorraine Jacobsen.

The family would like to express their deep appreciation to the caring staff at Lancaster General Hospital.
