Theresa Anne Holts

Theresa A. Holts, 57, of Narvon, PA passed away on July 27, 2017 after a brief illness. She was born in Hartford, CT on September 18, 1959 to the late Stanley E. Holts Sr. and Betty L. (Godin) Holts. Theresa Graduated from Mount Anthony Union High School in Bennington, VT. She was a paraprofessional educator at Molly Stark Elementary School in Bennington, VT for many years and subsequently with the IU13 in Lancaster, PA. She was also devoted, loving, caregiver, and daughter to her mother who she called “Mumma”.

Theresa is survived by her significant other Joseph Sauders, of Narvon, PA; two sisters: Mary Wright (Henry Wright Sr.) of Buskirk, NY and Amanda Holts-Martin (Allen Martin) of Lancaster, PA; brother: Stanley Holts Jr. of Hoosick Falls, NY; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She is predeceased by her brother Joseph Holts (Elaine Holts) of Sumter, SC.

Everyone that met Theresa came as a stranger but left as a friend. She enjoyed traveling and socializing with lifelong friends and family. In her spare time, she could be found knitting or sewing, but her first love was spending time with her niece Armine-Theresa Martin (Douglas Hooper) of Lancaster, PA and their children Brycen and Bexley Hooper.

The family is planning a graveside service at the Saint Johns Catholic Cemetery in North Bennington, VT and a celebration of Theresa’s life at a later date.

  • I remember Theresa as a kind, warmhearted and loving person. She always thought of the needs of others. I can still remember how lovingly she took care of her mother all those years ago. Her aura will be with us for ever. I will not be able to attend the graveside service due to distance, and will keep her and your family in my prayers.

    While Theresa is no longer physically with us, her bright and vibrant spirit remains.
    Looking at our loveseat we can still see her sitting there, almost as if her beautiful being that blessed our house with her presence, has never left.
